Dona Boots

Dona has been painting for over fifty years steadily, a ‘driven’ artist. A wide range of original works will be displayed; most have won awards including many first place and Best of Show. Types included are Symbolic Art, Religious, Still Life, Scenes, Animals and Portraits.

The artist has completed murals in churches, homes, and offices, and large scale stage backdrops. She also makes banners for church use and has restored statues.

Several of Dona’s art ‘HAPPENINGS’ have been featured on K.D.K.A. TV. In addition, she presented ‘Slick Chick’ (a VW made into a silver chicken) at the Ellwood City, PA summer Festival, and ‘Last Respects’ , which will be presented at the opening of the Beaver Falls show at the Center for Creative Arts Expression.

Her best reward of all, she says, is when someone comes up to her and describes a painting of hers they had seen years ago and what it meant to them…that her works are remembered.
